Creative Director and Co-Founder
Nick founded BriteSpark Films in 2013 in partnership with Argonon Media. He works across both development and production and drives the company’s strategy. An award winning director and executive producer with a wealth of experience making ambitious television for major British and North American broadcasters, at Cineflix, as Head of Documentaries, he oversaw some of the prodco’s most prestigious productions – from ‘Nazi Hunters’ to feature length drama-doc ‘Manson’, from ‘Air Aces’ to ‘Motives and Murders’. Prior to Cineflix, Nick was Head of Documentaries at Wag TV where he developed and oversaw productions for the BBC/Channel 4/FIVE/Discovery and National Geographic. Nick studied politics at Sussex University and documentary film-making at Britain’s National Film and TV School. He spent his formative years as a producer/director making films for blue-chip strands like C4's Cutting Edge and the BBC's Modern Times.

Tom works across BriteSpark’s slate, developing new projects and executive producing shows. Before joining BriteSpark in 2019 he spent six years at Channel 4 as Commissioning Editor based in both Specialist Factual and News and Current Affairs, with commissions ranging from Guy Martin series to BAFTA-winning current affairs. During that time his key commissions included the BAFTA/ RTS News/ Grierson/ Emmy-winning ‘Syria Across the Lines’; Grierson-winning ‘Hunted’, ‘The World’s Most Expensive...’; ‘Dogs: Their Secret Lives’; the BAFTA-nominated 'North Korea - Life Inside the Secret State’;, and had joint responsibility for the high profile Michael Jackson doc ‘Leaving Neverland’. Previously Tom worked as an Executive Producer at Blakeway where he managed the Dispatches slate for four years, and before that as a freelance Producer/Director, making films for Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Sky One and NHK at companies including Quicksilver, Brook Lapping and October films.

James is a forward-thinking creative business leader. He is committed to innovation, quality and talent. He trained as a journalist, then producer director. As Executive Producer, his credits include ‘An Englishman in New York’ starring John Hurt and ‘House Hunters International’. He is a voting member of BAFTA, a Fellow of the RSA and speaks five languages. He is CEO of Argonon Media.
Alex oversees all aspects of production at Britespark Films. Previously he was at Channel 5 where he was Head of Production. Prior to that he looked after programmes at the BBC where he worked for 15 years and managed many shows from 'Crimewatch UK', 'Children in Need', 'Panorama', 'Horizon' and BBC events.
Lisa is a highly experienced Producer and Development Producer of high quality factual content for the major UK and US broadcasters, from specialist factual series and singles to prime-time pop docs and drama documentary, on productions filmed across the world. She spent five years producing history and arts films at the BBC, and has worked in senior development roles at Darlow Smithson Productions and Arrow Media.
Patrick has a wealth of development experience and a background in journalism. He’s worked for companies in the UK and the US where he’s developed a wide range of factual content from fact ent formats, documentaries to specialist factual series. He joins BriteSpark after a long stint in development at Blast! Films where he also worked in production on a landmark documentary series for Channel 4. Patrick has a Masters in broadcast journalism from the University of Sheffield and has freelanced at BBC Newsnight.
Hunter works across multiple productions at BriteSpark Films. He has extensive production experience including managing international series’, fast turnaround projects and live studio based shows. Prior to BriteSpark his recent credits include BAFTA Television Awards, Sounds Like Friday Night (BBC) and ‘Village Of The Year’ (Channel 4).
